Join Good Samaritan as a Certified Medication Aide II, where you'll provide compassionate care and support to residents in a nurturing environment. Your role will be vital in ensuring their health and well-being through medication administration and daily living assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse
Document outcomes related to resident care and medication administration
Assist residents with daily living activities
Communicate changing conditions and care-related concerns to charge nurse
Provide housekeeping and laundry services
Required Qualifications
CMA II license required at time of hire
High school graduate or GED preferred
Minimum age of 18 preferred
CNA certification (for North Dakota and Iowa)
Registered with Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry (for Minnesota)
Completion of state-approved Certified Medication Aide course
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience
Valid driver's license and auto insurance
