Job Description

Join Providence Health and Services as an Electrophysiology Technician to support innovative patient care in a collaborative environment. Utilize your skills in a role that directly impacts patient outcomes in the Electrophysiology Lab.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare for and assist the physician in Electrophysiology Lab procedures
  • Perform as a monitor tech and scrub tech, maintaining sterile technique
  • Evaluate patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers
  • Provide patient care and administer drugs as directed by a physician
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic and therapeutic EP equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology
  • Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • At least 6 months cardiac internship during education
  • Prior EP experience in a technical capacity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of formal training from an AMA-approved Cardiovascular Technology Program
  • Two (2) years prior experience in a cardiovascular laboratory
