Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as a Control Systems Engineer and play a vital role in the Plant Engineering team, supporting cutting-edge manufacturing processes and improving operational efficiency. You'll work on control systems, collaborate with various teams, and contribute to ongoing projects that enhance productivity and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for control systems including hardware design, software design, network design, and data acquisition
Collaborate with Plant Engineering, MES, IT, Maintenance, and Production teams for production and facility projects
Estimate time and cost for new projects
Review capital equipment proposals to ensure compliance with specifications
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Reduce downtime on production equipment
Support network backup and device patching management
Manage inventory of control system assets
Improve system and maintenance performance
Review security vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation
Compile data from connected devices for organizational use
Develop and apply standards for control systems hardware and software
Solve complex problems and provide leadership on projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
5 years professional experience
Experience with automation hardware and software platforms (PLC and HMI)
Experience with AutoCAD
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79, and other technical codes
Ability to support and troubleshoot industrial equipment
Critical thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills
Ability to handle a variety of assignments and changing priorities
Effective communication skills
