Sable Corporation is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Job Description & Requirements
Schedule: 5×8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday
On-Call:
Nights: 1 in every 4 (17:30–07:00)
Weekends: 1 in every 4
Seeking experienced PACU RNs to provide post-anesthesia recovery care for surgical patients. Candidates must be comfortable with on-call responsibilities and able to respond to patients with varying acuity levels in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:Monitor and manage patients emerging from anesthesia
Assess airway, vital signs, pain levels, and overall stability post-surgery
Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
Communicate patient status to surgical and anesthesia teams
Document care accurately in the electronic health record
Respond to emergent situations with clinical precision
Participate in scheduled night and weekend call rotation
Active RN license (state-specific)
Minimum 2 years of PACU or critical care experience required
BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and respond effectively under pressure
