Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Location: Frisco, Texas 75034 – Dallas-Fort Worth metro area
• Facility: Labor & Delivery Unit (13 beds, 2 triage, 2 ORs)
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/On Call: 4 weekend shifts and 1 on-call shift per schedule
• Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1820–$1950

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Scrub capability preferred
• Experience with GE EFM equipment and EMR systems (CPN, Meditech) a plus
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to laboring mothers and newborns
• Monitor patients using GE EFM equipment and interpret fetal monitoring data
• Assist with labor inductions, Cesarean sections, and TOLAC procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team (CNC, CST, RNs)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Follow all unit policies, safety protocols, and best practices
• Demonstrate flexibility with weekend and on-call nursing shifts
