We develop innovative immunotherapies targeting the root causes of cardiovascular disease. About You We are looking for an outstanding scientist to join our team in Palo Alto and Massachusetts. The role requires on-site presence in Palo Alto and is ideal for highly motivated professionals in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities: Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to create therapies targeting immunological and inflammatory drivers of cardiovascular disease. Design and perform immune cell-based in vitro assays for drug target validation and screening. Explore immunobiology using in vitro cell systems; develop protocols and support biomarker discovery. Propose and implement innovative approaches to expand our pipeline and intellectual property. Troubleshoot methods with partners and CROs. Analyze data and maintain accurate records and reports. Communicate findings effectively through presentations and reports. Qualifications: PhD in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related field with 2+ years postdoctoral/industry experience, OR MS with 5+ years industry experience, OR BS with 8+ years industry experience. Proficiency in immune cell isolation and culture. Experience with in vitro functional assays for primary immune cells. Experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry and data analysis. Experience in macrophage biology is desirable. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team. Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to sit or stand at a computer, walk within the facility, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Position based in Palo Alto, CA. Recruitment Process Salary range in Palo Alto: $120,000-$145,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. Compensation includes base salary, incentives, and equity.
