Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance of medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and reefer units
Complete minor repairs and standard inspections of fleet diesel equipment
Ensure equipment has required licensing and registration
Document work orders through an online system
Inspect brake systems and other important parts
Train and provide guidance to other Mechanics
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
3 - 5 years of medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes
Diagnosis and computerized diagnostics
Electrical troubleshooting
Electronic component repair
Experience in refrigeration
