Radiology - Interventional Physician at City Mobile Group, LLC summary:

Seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Radiologist to provide locum coverage at a high-volume acute care hospital in California, specializing in interventional radiology (IR) procedures and stroke CTs. The role involves daily diagnostic imaging including CTs, X-rays, ultrasounds, MRIs, and various IR interventions with optional light pager call. This is a short-term, high-paying locum opportunity requiring strong acute hospital imaging experience and relevant certifications.

We are seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Radiologist to provide locum coverage at a high-volume acute care hospital in California . This role includes IR procedures , stroke CTs , and the option to add light pager call (rarely activated). Coverage needed on specific dates from September through December .

Schedule & Dates
  • Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

  • Call: Optional night pager (paid separately, rarely called)

  • Open Dates:

    • September : 3 5 20

    • October :

    • November : 2, 8 9, 15, 23

    • December : 6, 14,

Compensation
  • $3,100 $3,250/day

  • $770/night for optional pager call

  • Travel, hotel, and malpractice included

Facility Details
  • Stroke-certified general acute care hospital

  • Onsite diagnostic imaging team + overflow telerads for after-hours

  • Daily Workload:

    • CTs

    • X-rays

    • Ultrasounds

    • 5 8 MRIs

    • 5 8 IR procedures/day

Required Skills
  • IR: LPs, barium studies, centesis, drain placements, biopsies (lung, thyroid, etc.)

  • Stroke CTs, OB/ICU/ED acute care reads

  • EMR: Cerner

  • Outpatient contrast MRI/CT supervision and breast biopsies (in adjacent building)

Requirements
  • Board Certified/Eligible

  • Active California medical license

  • CA Fluoroscopy certification (required)

  • DEA, BLS

  • Residency/Fellowship training completed

  • Strong IR + acute hospital-based imaging experience

This is a high-paying, short-term locum opportunity at a well-run California facility. Excellent support, light call, and high procedural volume.
