Key Responsibilities

  • Manage material procurement and obsolescence tasks
  • Identify applications, document and communicate issues
  • Work with subject matter experts to implement solutions
  • Interface with suppliers and chemical management companies
  • Present issues to Leadership, Program Management, and Supply Chain

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science (e.g., chemistry, polymer science, instrumental analysis, materials engineering) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with material testing techniques (e.g., FTIR, hardness, % elongation)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional level communication skills
  • Knowledge of a vast array of materials (e.g., epoxies, polymers, elastomers, composites)
  • Experience with Raytheon’s chemical procurement systems (e.g., tcmIS, PRISM, Incora)
