Job Summary:

The Cath Lab RN provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cardiovascular Laboratory. This position requires strong clinical knowledge, the ability to monitor complex physiological data, and effective communication with the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Address the psychosocial and physical aspects of care in the procedural setting.
• Communicate patient status and changes to physicians as needed.
• Monitor and document the patient’s condition throughout cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor physiological and hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of the procedure room and readiness of all required equipment.
• Obtain and prepare supplies specific to each case.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and inventory management.
• Collaborate with the Cardiovascular Lab team to meet procedural needs.
• Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives.

Requirements: Active RN license (state-specific) BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) & DCI/BVP Minimum 1 - 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and monitoring equipment Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
