Key Responsibilities

  • Increase sales and profitability for the cooperative
  • Implement and support current customer programs
  • Develop new customer markets and sales growth
  • Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders professionally
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance sales impact
  • Identify customer needs and provide consultative services
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts, bids, and proposals
  • Provide training to co-op staff and customers
  • Service customer complaints and inquiries
  • Use CRM to track results and communications
  • Manage special projects for the local co-op and customers
  • Develop knowledge of multiple energy products

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of Sales, Business Development, and/or Sales Business Operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Outside sales experience including presentations, negotiation skills, customer service, conflict resolution
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
