Key Responsibilities
Perform routine radiographic procedures and special computerized tomography procedures
Conduct daily quality assurance testing on CT unit and emergency equipment
Report problems related to equipment, staffing, and productivity to the supervisor
Obtain pertinent clinical data prior to diagnostic examination
Ensure efficient patient flow through scanner area
Monitor supplies and report shortages as required
Maintain daily activities log and procedures manual
Assist the physician in performing interventional CT procedures
Participate in orientation and training of new personnel
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of a two-year radiological technology program
Minimum of one year as a radiologic technologist
One year CT experience or successful completion of in-house CT cross-training program
Current State of Maryland licensure
American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification
