Perform diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scan images Produce quality CT exam images and exercise professional judgment Provide patient care and initiate life support measures as necessary Interact effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare workers Develop understanding of patient's physical and emotional status Perform mobile imaging and basic diagnostic radiology tasks Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification I.V. certification within six weeks of employment Computerized Tomography (CT) training or experience CT certification within two years Licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NDMIRT) Board if working in North Dakota Permit to practice through the Iowa Department of Public Health if working in Iowa Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Generous time off package
