Job Description
Join Walt Disney Imagineering as a General Superintendent - Electrical Specialist, where you'll oversee construction projects and ensure quality and safety standards. Leverage your experience and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with various stakeholders, making a meaningful impact in creating immersive experiences at Disney parks and resorts.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities
Monitoring quality and safety in the field
Providing technical expertise and ensuring compliance with quality requirements
Managing staff performance and providing leadership and mentoring
Collaborating with clients and various team members
Tracking labor hours and production against goals
Investigating incidents and providing relevant documentation
Coordinating site security and participating in pre-construction risk evaluation
Expecting occasional domestic and international travel
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of field experience in applicable site development projects
Strong organization and tracking skills
Collaboration and relationship building
Understanding of permitting processes and experience with local jurisdictions
General technical proficiency with computer and mobile-based software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to handle 40-hour weeks of outdoor work
Confidently working on 40 feet or more building structures
Lift and/or move 60+ pounds
Expertise to manage large/mega projects
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of undergraduate schooling in related field of construction
Technical certifications
