Key Responsibilities
Meets all requirements of Approved Autism Evaluation Center (AAEC) for diagnostic services
Provides diagnostic services using standardized and informal assessment procedures
Recommends and implements treatment procedures based on assessment findings
Provides speech and language therapy services based on individual needs
Provides leadership and consultation to Center for Autism staff
Provides oral-motor and feeding diagnostic services
Assesses and coordinates augmentative/assistive communication technology
Maintains complete and accurate clinical and billing records
Keeps supervisor informed of clinical issues and professional activities
Participates in quality assurance and program evaluation activities
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech/language pathology or equivalent or is a CFY candidate for ASHA's CCC in speech
Demonstrated ability to communicate in verbal and written formats
Valid driver’s license according to Hope Network policy
Two to five years’ experience with emphasis on children and adolescents
Prior clinical experience with individuals with developmental disability or diagnosis of autism disorder
