Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Meets all requirements of Approved Autism Evaluation Center (AAEC) for diagnostic services
  • Provides diagnostic services using standardized and informal assessment procedures
  • Recommends and implements treatment procedures based on assessment findings
  • Provides speech and language therapy services based on individual needs
  • Provides leadership and consultation to Center for Autism staff
  • Provides oral-motor and feeding diagnostic services
  • Assesses and coordinates augmentative/assistive communication technology
  • Maintains complete and accurate clinical and billing records
  • Keeps supervisor informed of clinical issues and professional activities
  • Participates in quality assurance and program evaluation activities

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech/language pathology or equivalent or is a CFY candidate for ASHA's CCC in speech
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in verbal and written formats
  • Valid driver’s license according to Hope Network policy
  • Two to five years’ experience with emphasis on children and adolescents
  • Prior clinical experience with individuals with developmental disability or diagnosis of autism disorder
