• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed 24 hours/week)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1880 - $2020
• On Call: Schedule determined by facility
• Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility

Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license (verification within 30 days)
• Current certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross):
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • AFM (Advanced Fetal Monitoring)
• No license restrictions or disciplinary actions
• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered with documentation)
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Preferred skills: couplet care, circulating OR cases, baby admits/catching babies, triage proficiency
• Must meet all facility-specific compliance and background check requirements

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Perform triage, couplet care, postpartum care, and assist with operating room (OR) cases as needed
• Admit and care for newborns, including initial assessments and clinical interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
