Job Description
Join Fusion Medical Staffing as a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Sterling, Illinois. You'll be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating advanced imaging equipment, all within a supportive clinical team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures
Maintain and inspect nuclear medicine equipment
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications
Monitor patients for adverse reactions to radioactive drugs
Operate medical imaging equipment to create images
Document procedure details in patient records
Follow hospital safety rules and policies
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Nuclear Medicine Technologist practice
Required Qualifications
One year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech
Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/ Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
