Interventional Radiology Technologist (Neuro Endovascular)

Location: Bridgeport, CT
Schedule: 4x10 Hour Day Shifts | On-call rotation (Evenings, Weekends, Holidays)
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay: $3304

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with interventional radiology and neuroendovascular procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and radiation protocols.
  • Support physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions.
  • Prepare, position, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain sterile field and proper aseptic technique during all invasive procedures.
  • Document and record patient data accurately within the facility’s EMR system.
  • Monitor patient responses and report changes to the supervising physician.
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule, responding promptly to emergency cases.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements:

Education & Certification:

  • ARRT (RT) certification required.
  • CT Radiographer License (active and in good standing).
  • BLS (AHA) certification.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience.
  • Neuro Endovascular experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume procedural environments.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in interventional and neuroendovascular procedures.
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-stress clinical settings.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
