Key Responsibilities
Provides treatments to patients by evaluating their function and applying appropriate treatments.
Participates in an interdisciplinary approach for community education and clinical education of students.
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient symptoms and establishes individualized goals.
Educates patients/families in home exercise programs to maximize independent functional activity.
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines and adheres to the department’s policies.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in the use of Windows based programs such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
