Job Details – MICU RN Travel Assignment

• Job Title: MICU Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Kansas City, KS 66112
• Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Unit: Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU 60100)
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 11, 2026
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; every 3rd weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Kansas or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent MICU or ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every 3rd weekend
• Meet all onboarding health requirements (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement, Drug Screening, etc.)
• Submit resume and two professional references

MICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced nursing procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and families for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per hospital policies
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with critical care best practices
