Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Scranton, PA. You'll make a positive impact on patient lives while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures
Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
Monitor patient's condition during surgery and document changes
Handle surgical instruments and ensure proper use and disposal
Manage specimen collection and documentation of patient care
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure compliance with facility policies
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications
OR Nursing Certification (CNOR)
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
