Key Responsibilities
Execute automation solutions for controlling plant processes
Design and configure control systems
Oversee electrical and instrumentation functions related to projects
Identify areas for improvement and provide training for completed projects
Required Qualifications
Eligible to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship
18 years of age or older
Knowledge of PLC/HMI/Controls programming languages
Ability to update and troubleshoot electrical or instrumentation systems
Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team or individually, and be a self-starter
Ability to pass an Electrical Aptitude Test
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Cargill Experience
Ability to understand continuous and batch process control strategies
Working understanding of the production process
Ability to configure and program PLC and HMI systems
Knowledge of reliability centered maintenance, planning and scheduling
Automation, Electrical, and/or Instrumentation experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens
Design and implementation knowledge of plant digital business technologies
