Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians with image-guided minimally invasive procedures
Maintain sterile technique and operation of imaging equipment
Position and image patients while ensuring their comfort
Obtain and prepare all equipment needed for procedures
Document patient clinical history and ensure information is available for clinicians
Provide good communication and patient monitoring
Post-process digital data for display or records
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with age-specific criteria
Proactive maintenance of ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training
