Performs diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under physician supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging for electrophysiology and cardiology interpretations. Provides patient care throughout procedures, maintaining safety and comfort. Requires specialized certifications and knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and interventional cardiology techniques.

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by an Electrophysiologist/Cardiologist.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in Science or comparable work experience.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES . BLS certification required. ACLS required. RCIS, RCES or CVIS Certification required.

SKILLS:

• Thorough knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, medical terminology and basic computer skills
• Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English

EXPERIENCE: One year Cath lab/ EP experience preferred.
