Intensive Care Unit RN - Immediate Need - Travel Contract

Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit ~ Discipline: RN ~ Shift: 12 hours, nights ~ Employment Type: Travel Unit Description ============ Overview: 32 beds, Neuro, Cardiac, Pulmonary, Gastro, Surgical, Endo. This is a Step-Down unit and agency nurses/positions are subject to floating to other critical care units (i.e., ICU, ER). Candidates must understand and agree to floating to other units outside of their assigned location. Experience with chest tubes, trach, cardizen gtt Ratio: 4:1, 5:1 Scrub Color: Navy Blue Charting System: Cerner ICU/CCU Provide professional nursing care through the nursing process. Comply with all policies and procedures, nursing standards of practice and regulatory bodies. of 3 years' experience- Medical Surgical exp. Contract Length: 6-13 weeks Experience within Cardiac ICU preferred Weekend: 12 hour shifts Sun- Sat, must be available weekends Holiday: Charting: Cerner Call off - Client may cancel (call-off) up to one (1) shift per two week period without paying for the cancelled hours. FDI are emailed directly by the hospital. Please be sure to look in the junk folder as well – emails are sent usually around 2:00 pm on Friday. • Monday is a virtual day - Teams call starts around 8:30 - 9 am. After the Teams meeting, continue the day with 'at your pace' modules sent by the facility. • Badge appointment is emailed by the facility to issue the badge and review policy/procedures. The ID badge is very important to obtain prior to Orientation Shift. These are MUST attend and cannot be rescheduled or missed- you will take the end of class assignment which is required to schedule the orientation shift. • Orientation shift - Fri/Sat/Sun shift which will be at the time of the shift hired for and schedule will be made available after Tue/Wed/Thur orientation classes have been completed. • Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
