Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $2,400 per week

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Unit Size: 24 beds
Charting System: Epic
Scrubs: Solid Navy Blue or White (tops & bottoms; jackets navy or white)

✅ Minimum 2+ years recent CVICU/CICU/CCU experience

• Must be recent and dedicated (not general ICU)
• Advanced therapy modalities required:
  • VV/VA ECMO
  • IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
  • Impella
  • CRRT
  • TTM/Arctic Sun
  • PA Catheter Guided Therapy

✅ Core Critical Care Competencies:

• Rhythm strip interpretation (EKGs)
• Titration of cardiac/vasoactive drips
• Post-op and high-acuity cardiac patient care

• Post-Op CABG
• Heart & Lung Transplants
• Cardiogenic Shock
• Advanced Heart Failure
• Arrhythmias , Lysis Therapy , Post-PCI/IR procedures
• TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair)

• VA RN License or Compact RN License (active, in-hand)
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS

• Shift: 7p–7a, 3x12s
• Weekends: Every other weekend (Minimum 4 weekends in 6 weeks)
• Holidays: 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s; includes day before, day of, and day after)
• On-Call: None
• Orientation: 2 shifts on the floor

• Primary between CICU & CVICU
• First to float to other ICUs:
  • Stepdown
  • IMC
  • Tele/Progressive Care

• Ratios:
  • ICU: 1:1 or 1:2
  • Stepdown: 1:3
• No facility-provided housing
• Maximum Submissions per Agency: 8
• Winter Plan Need = Yes (for coverage during peak season)
