Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a School Aide and make a meaningful impact by supporting students with special educational needs. Work alongside teachers to foster an inclusive learning environment while developing your skills in behavioral support and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group support
Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff
Support with personal care or hygiene as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
English proficiency
U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Special Education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
ABA Therapy experience
Behaviour Technician experience
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
CPR and First Aid certification
CPI or Pro Act Training
