Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment
Conduct general diagnostic and routine fluoroscopic duties
Produce radiographs and manage patient positioning
Select proper technical factors for individual patients
Operate imaging equipment as directed
Develop film by automatic processing and use PACS
Ensure radiation safety standards are followed
Assist physician in administering opaque media
Maintain records, orderliness, and cleanliness
Cooperate with all personnel in the department
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years of continuous recent experience as a radiologic technologist II
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification
Certification/Competency in at least one specialized area (Mammography, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiography, PACS)
Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California Department of Health Services
Valid certificate as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California Department of Public Health
Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification or equivalent education approved by the state of California
