Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnostic ultrasound procedures
Serve as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students
Verify physician orders and ensure accuracy
Independently operate equipment according to protocol
Review patient images for diagnostic quality
Facilitate departmental operations such as inventory and staff schedules
Required Qualifications
Completion of a CAHEA approved formal training program in diagnostic medical sonography
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or registry eligible
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of sonographer experience
Advanced certification in area(s) of specialty according to facility need
