Job Description
Join ABF Freight as a Local CDL-A Truck Driver where you'll enjoy home daily routes while earning competitive pay. You'll be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo, ensuring safety and efficiency in your operations.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload cargo
Perform various tasks including check-in and tractor/trailer inspection
Exercise independent judgment regarding trailer building and tearing down
Operate a forklift as needed
Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets
Required Qualifications
Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
Minimum 21 years of age
Good stable work record
Safe driving record
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
