Key Responsibilities
Ensure high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of functions in the unit/department.
Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures.
Assist with admission and discharge processes.
Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services.
Collaborate with other managers to create a teamwork environment.
Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery.
Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
Manage staff scheduling and labor aspects according to patient care needs.
Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN)
Bachelor's Degree
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
