About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, supporting Radiologists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent patient care, and the ability to operate imaging equipment efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist Radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
- Ensure proper processing and transmission of images to PACS.
- Operate and maintain mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to safety and radiation protection protocols.
- Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients undergoing procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH
- A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required
- Minimum one year of acute clinical radiology experience
- At least one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment
- Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification required
- Proficient computer skills
