Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Cambridge, MA 02139
• Healthcare Setting: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Pre-Operative
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/21/2025, End: 1/17/2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, 4x10 hour shifts weekly (On-call shifts required; block scheduling not permitted)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,520 - $2,700 per week

PACU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts nursing license preferred
• 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Clinical experience in PACU or Pre-Operative nursing
• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Seasonal flu vaccine required
• Ability to work every other major holiday

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients in PACU and pre-operative settings
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and patient management
• Respond to on-call needs and adapt to rotating shift schedules
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
