Job Description

Join Avera Health as an MRI Technologist, where you'll operate MRI equipment and contribute to patient care in a compassionate, multidisciplinary team environment. Your role is vital in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients and adjust equipment for MRI procedures
  • Perform MRI procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with staff/student training and orientation
  • Maintain records required for the MRI area
  • Consult with radiologists and other patient-care personnel

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school
  • Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
  • Less than 1 year of experience in MRI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
  • 1-3 years of training/experience in MRI
