Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Shift Details:
- Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 8-hour shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 per week
Assignment Details:
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Charting System: Epic
Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms following established protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality.
- Maintain detailed documentation within the Epic charting system.
- Support radiologists during biopsy or interventional procedures as needed.
- Adhere to all radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients.
Requirements:
- Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association) – Required
- Certified Mammography Technologist – ARRT (M) – Required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in mammography
- Equipment Knowledge: Hologic 2D/3D systems (experience with biopsies a plus)
- Vaccination Policy: Flu and COVID-19 vaccines required (no exemptions)
- Parking: Paid parking at approximately $1.25/hour
