We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing physical examinations, and conducting vital signs checks. - Utilize ICD-10 coding to accurately document patient diagnoses and treatment plans. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care. - Assist in the management of acute pain and other medical conditions. - Support patients with behavioral health needs, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues. - Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, with a focus on promoting health, wellness, and independence. - Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to identify trends and make informed treatment decisions. - Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
Experience:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of [insert state]. - At least 1 year of experience working in long-term care or acute care settings. - Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or working people. - Familiarity with internal medicine and a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and protocols. - Strong physiology knowledge and the ability to apply it in a practical setting. - Experience with ICD-10 coding and the ability to accurately document patient care. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
