Key Responsibilities
Adjust complex auto bodily injury claims and UM/UIM claims
Investigate loss details and determine legal liability
Evaluate, negotiate, and adjudicate claims
Manage assigned claims workload and keep parties informed
Collaborate with team members and direct vendors for claims resolution
Deliver best-in-class member service
Support workload surges and catastrophe response operations
Work various types of claims, including higher complexity claims
Ensure compliance with risk and compliance policies
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
4 years auto claims and injury adjusting experience
Advanced knowledge of auto claims contracts, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and adjudication
Advanced negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Strong time-management and decision-making skills
Investigatory, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
Ability to exercise sound financial judgment
Advanced knowledge of coverage evaluation and loss reserving
Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts
Preferred Qualifications
2 or more years of catastrophic injury experience
Experience handling UM/UIM injury claims
College Degree (Bachelor’s or higher)
