Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design, control, and improvement of manufacturing processes
  • Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
  • Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
  • Support manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
  • Lead non-conforming material analysis
  • Drive Continuous Improvement through process enhancements
  • Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers
  • Develop and implement manufacturing process control
  • Lead corrective action investigations
  • Interact with internal customers

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading teams/projects
  • Experience with interpretation of technical documentation
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
  • Technical drawing interpretation, GD&T
  • Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude
  • Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
  • Strong organization skills
  • Proven written and oral communication skills
  • Current DoD security clearance (secret)
  • Experience with automated tooling and programming
  • Experience with refurbishment and processing of Government Furnished Material (GFM)
