Job Description
Position: Contingent Clinical Care LVN/LPN - MC
Location: Round Rock, TX
Duration: 06+ Months (with possibilities of extension)
**This is a full-time contingent position, 32-40 hours per week including every other weekend, and may require floating to other nearby locations.
FT clinic hours, includes every other weekend.

Duties You will:
• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
• This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
• Administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
• Assess patients during intake
• Take vital signs
• Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG, Retinopathy screening
• Perform Point of care testing (including COVID testing)
• Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
• Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience
• Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities

Experience Required Qualifications:
• Previous experience administering immunizations and injections is required.
• Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.
• Ability to take vital signs
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
• Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room. Previous experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record

Education:
• The LPN/LVN must have a full, active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.?€?
