Join DMC Harper University Hospital as a CT Technologist and contribute to our renowned clinical expertise. In this role, you will perform diagnostic CT exams, ensure patient safety, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while guiding new talent in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic CT exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history and assess risk factors.
Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits.
Acquire appropriate images and review for initial observations.
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies.
Provide physician-prescribed post care instructions.
Participate in process improvement activities within radiology.
Provide imaging education to residents and new employees.
Take call/standby as required.
Required Qualifications
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training by end of orientation period.
One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
