Key Responsibilities
Provide professional development and education for nursing staff
Facilitate evidence-based practice and quality patient care
Participate in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing educational needs
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in nursing or related discipline (preferred or must be matriculated into a program)
Minimum of 5 years of RN experience on med/surg, telemetry, and/or critical care units
Licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in the District of Columbia
Current BLS (CPR) certification required
Preferred Qualifications
Board-Certification within specialty (preferred or acquired within 9 months of employment)
