Key Responsibilities
Provide basic nursing care and assist in resident assessments
Document assessments and communicate changes in resident conditions
Participate in care planning and update care plans as needed
Administer medications and treatments safely and timely
Monitor residents' care and identify behavioral changes
Complete continuing education related to nursing
Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with residents and families
Required Qualifications
Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in LPN
Current LPN license in Missouri and Illinois
Current CPR/AED Certification
IV certification
Two years of experience in nursing
Long-term care and rehab experience
Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents
Excellent communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift heavy objects
Ability to transfer and move patients
Manual dexterity and coordination
Visual acuity to distinguish color
Ability to perform documentation electronically and in writing
Preferred Qualifications
Three years of experience preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Willingness to travel and work at various Bethesda locations
