Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Puyallup, WA 98372 (Washington nursing jobs)
• Facility: Level III Trauma Center, 375-bed hospital, 46-bed Emergency Department
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour mid/nights (start times: 3:00 PM or 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

ER RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license (WA or compact state)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI/MOAB
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, and ED medication administration
• Traveler Telemetry Competency (must be completed and passed prior to start)
• Professional appearance: Any scrub color, modest piercings, non-offensive tattoos

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to pediatric, adult, trauma, cardiac, stroke, and mental health patients
• Perform critical ER RN skills: cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV insertion, medication and blood administration, procedural sedation, TNK administration (preferred)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: ER techs, charge nurses, resource nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, social work, and security
• Utilize Epic for charting and Alaris/Pyxis for medication management
• Work in a supportive, fast-paced, and traveler-friendly hospital environment
• Comply with hospital policies, including holiday and weekend shift requirements
