?? Position Overview: Night Shift Respiratory TherapistLocation: West Warwick, RI Shift: Full-Time, Nights (11 PM – 7 AM), every other weekend & rotating holidays Unit: 20-bed Trach & Ventilator Unit
?? Key ResponsibilitiesPerform respiratory care procedures under medical supervision
Manage artificial airways and provide airway care and maintenance
Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical ventilators
Assess and treat patients’ respiratory status, including ABG analysis
Administer therapies such as:
Chest physiotherapy
Percussion/vibration
Deep tracheal suctioning
Aerosolized medications
Review physician orders and ensure correct medication dosages
Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and supervisors
Assist in emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
?? QualificationsRequired: BLS and ACLS certs, RI license and RRT cert
