Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Rushville, IL. You'll deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival
Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments
Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their time in the emergency department
Observe and document patient conditions as required
Take and monitor vital signs
Respond to life-saving situations based upon emergency nursing standards
Document comprehensive nursing assessments in EMR
Initiate patient education plans
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Perform other duties as assigned
Adhere to hospital safety protocols and guidelines
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as an ER RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification
Preferred Qualifications
TNCC certification
NIHSS certification
CPI certification
NRP certification
SANE certification
Other certifications or licenses may be required
