Key Responsibilities
Lead instructional processes for high school students with IEPs
Adapt curricular content for diverse learning styles
Manage student caseload and develop IEPs
Prepare detailed lesson plans and maintain an organized classroom
Stay informed on current instructional practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in education, special education or related field
IL state special education teaching credential (in process or obtained)
IL professional educator (PEL) endorsement (in process or obtained)
Experience with curriculum development, differentiation, and instruction
Knowledge of special education services and compliance
Experience working with students with IEPs
Proven success in developing effective education plans
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in alternative education settings
Knowledge of emotional disorders and behavioral challenges
Skills in crisis intervention and student engagement
Proficiency in individualized instruction and classroom management
