Key Responsibilities
Perform and score sleep study procedures in accordance with physician's orders
Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
Communicate with supervisor and manager regarding patient and equipment issues
Obtain patient information and consent prior to studies
Initiate and monitor quality sleep studies
Provide education to patients and new employees
Meet scoring volume requirements and inter-scorer reliability goals
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
2 years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist
Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in South Carolina
CRT-SDS or RRT-SDS credentialed by NBRC or RPSGT credentialed by BRPT
Current membership with AARC or other professional membership
