As a Clinical Administration Coordinator at Optum, you'll play a vital role in improving health outcomes by delivering exceptional administrative support. Your responsibilities will include managing client relations, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records, all while contributing to a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome clients and check them in
Schedule client appointments and manage cancellations
Accurately enter client information into electronic medical record system
Answer phone calls and respond to emails
Handle billing processes and verify insurance coverage
Maintain client records and ensure compliance with legal standards
Manage reception area and perform clerical duties
Coordinate with site directors on facilities issues
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of front desk, administrative or customer service experience
1+ years of experience in front service desk, administrative assistant, or customer service role
1+ years of experience effectively presenting, reading, and interpreting information
1+ years of experience using work-related software and a computer, including Microsoft Office Products
1+ years of experience reading and understanding common terminology of the mental health field
Reliable transportation required
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in front service desk, administrative assistant, or customer service role
2+ years of experience with compliance-related information
Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
Ability to work independently
