Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Social Worker to support adults with serious mental illness in achieving independence. Collaborate with a therapeutic team to deliver culturally competent care and guide residents on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of residents and provide necessary clinical intervention
Conduct client assessments and develop personalized recovery goals
Provide individual and family counseling
Advocate on behalf of residents with other service providers
Participate in case conferences and staff meetings
Document resident interactions and progress
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work
LMSW or LCSW certification preferred
A minimum of 1-year experience in Human Services preferred
Willingness to work with individuals with experiences of mental illness and substance use
Preferred Qualifications
Compassion and respect for vulnerable individuals
Patience and understanding for the slow process of stabilization and recovery
