Job Description

Samaritan Health Services is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee pharmacy operations, supervise staff, and ensure the delivery of quality patient care. This role requires a licensed pharmacist to dispense medications and provide clinical assessments across diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists management in monitoring operations and productivity of the pharmacy department
  • Supervises staff and coordinates activities with leadership
  • Dispenses medication and assesses clinical status of patients
  • Provides drug information to the medical team and educates patients

Required Qualifications

  • Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency in pharmacy practice or one year pharmacist experience
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS required within three months of hire
  • Successful completion of Pharmacist Immunization Certification required within one year of hire
  • Pre-employment/post offer drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience
  • Previous clinical pharmacist or post-graduate experience interacting with patients
